johns hopkins lacrosse

Syracuse Johns at Homewood

It may have taken overtime, but good once again triumphed over evil as Syracuse waltzed into Baltimore, Maryland and savagely Jays 14-13.  Dave Pietramala, glorified gym teacher and modern-age mullet advocate, described the Orange effort such:

“They’re a motivated group,” coach Dave Pietramala “A year ago they would have lost this game and they would have lost to Georgetown, but they didn’t.”

Just correct Coach Pietramala: A year ago, Syracuse would not have to Hopkins and Georgetown; rather, a year ago Syracuse would have chosen not to win.  Syracuse doesn’t lose games; rather, Syracuse simply allows others a taste of victory it mercilessly drills its opponent at its next opportunity.  It’s is called “playin’ possum,” and the Orange it better than Bo and Luke Duke.

Johns Hopkins now slips to 3-2 and is currently rated 19th in Laxpower.com’s power ratings.  Syracuse is now 4-1 and is terrible (unlike the Blue Jays).  Next up for Johns Hopkins is a loss to Virginia.  The Orange will decimate Binghamton on Sunday, March 22nd.

Pittsburgh Pounds Georgetown

It was only of time before Georgetown pissed off Jesus.  Saturday night was its day of reckoning.

Despite never losing in the Big East Tournament as the number-one seed, Georgetown managed to get wholly-owned by a Panthers squad was playing its fourth game in four consecutive days.

Way to go, John Thompson III.  Not does your father now hate you, but you managed to disappoint a man that died for all of our sins.
